| Rhu Bru, a proudly Australian owned and operated company is dedicated to creating unique rhubarb based products. Made from premium quality rhubarb grown in the fertile soils of Scottsdale, North Eastern Tasmania, our raw material is from the largest rhubarb farm in the Southern Hemisphere. The glorious growing conditions produce exceptional stalks. The idea for Rhu Bru came from a desire to diversify and value add the new rhubarb growing enterprise in Scottsdale. Thus the beginning of a small but increasingly successful cottage industry, born from the desire to utilize fresh produce and create a unique taste from Tasmania. Rhu Bru products have no artificial colours or flavours. The gorgeous pink is the natural colour. The aim is to keep that sharp acidicity long associated with rhubarb but to mellow it enough to create a flavoursome, just-sweet-enough taste. We hope you think we have found the balance. |
